Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) offers the capabilities to design, procure, install and test infrastructures for Deepwater Field Development in up to 3,500 m water depth. HMC operates two deepwater construction vessels, DCV Balder and DCV Thialf, and diverse deepwater installation equipment. At this moment a new vessel is under construction Aegir.
HMC's experience spans nearly four decades. During this time we have successfully completed challenging projects, many of which have set world and industry records in terms of size and/or water depth. HMC installation procedures enable operators to install Deepwater infrastructure whilst maintaining excellent safety records. These procedures are carefully developed and meticulously tested using HAZID/HAZOP methods and associated Job Safety Analysis and Toolbox talks for each operation.
