Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) has appointed Michel Hendriks Project Director of the Block 31 Project, HMC’s largest project to date. The project covers the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of BP’s Angolan deep water development program. In his 20 years with HMC, Michel has acquired extensive experience as Project Manager and Manager Procurement.
Edwin de Korte has succeeded Michel as Manager Procurement. Edwin has several years’ experience as Deputy Manager Procurement with HMC and is eminently suited to lead the department.
