Heerema Marine Contractors appoints new CFO

Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) announces that Mr. Jan-Hein Jesse will be appointed as new Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 July 2010. He succeeds Mr. Frans van de Werff, who has been acting as CFO on an interim basis.
Mr. Jesse brings a wide range of experience to the organization. He is currently working for Royal Dutch Shell as Manager Acquisitions and Divestments. Before that he headed the Oil and Gas Department of ING Bank. He is no stranger to HMC either. It was here that he started his career 28 years ago as a Naval Marine Engineer.
Mr. Jesse’s solid background in Finance, Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Commercial, Risk Management, and Engineering will make him a valuable asset to HMC, and the Heerema Group.
