Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) awarded Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) a contract for the transportation and installation of the Tombua Landana (TOL) Compliant Tower and Topsides.

The TOL platform weighing 81,500 short tons was the second CPT platform installed in West African waters. Installation of the Tombua Landana Compliant Tower was split into two phases.

The first phase included the installation of the CPT foundation part which comprised of the Leveling Pile template, Leveling Piles, the Tower Base Template and the Foundation piles. All parts, including the world's longest single piece Foundation Piles, 108" diameter, 623'-4" ft long, 939 short tons, were handled and installed by the SSCV Hermod which was moored out with 12 anchors.

The second phase comprised installation of the CPT tower sections and the topsides including the installation of the Tower Bottom Section (launched) and the Tower Top Section within 0.1 degree of the vertical and the Module Support Frame, Central Module, West Module, East Module, Living Quarters and the Angolan built Flareboom.

All platform components in phase 2 were installed by the Thialf on DP.
